post "haha yeah"

alriiiiiiight.

BIG hiatus there! so sorry. i just started finishing up “haha yeah” and it became the only thing i could think about - and also do.

but that doesn’t mean i haven’t been writing!

i actually just uploaded two songs - “i always knew that you needed me” and “jungled the punch”

the story for those….IAKTYNM started one day randomly when i turned on my synth and just played 3 simple little chords. but the tone of the synth was SO good, especially with those chords - that i couldn’t resist. it was just, 80’s in your face, in a delightful way.

i also just received a borrowed microphone from my friends in under the rug, so i wanted to try some vocals with that - and i have to say, this chorus rocks imo. couldn’t be much happier with it, so i think that’s a great start. i think it was lady gaga that said you might as well try to write choruses first because otherwise what’s the point of the song.

anyway - jungled the punch was a little beat thing i tried when i was high and got curious with making a weird drum kit and playing my little ableton controller. fun little thing that i could definitely see going somewhere.

i even have more songs than just those - from when i took the david longstreth class. one of them, at the very least, i will be recording - i have a clear vision for it in my mind and i think it could be verrrrry good.

I uploaded the demo for that too - it’s called isolation is the way.

anyway! here i go again, starting a new record. lmao. what else is there to do, you know?
